[A10] Direct CO2 Fischer–Tropsch synthesis over cobalt catalyst supported on lanthanum ion-doped ceria
Keywords:Lanthanum ion doped ceria, direct CO2-FTS, extrinsic oxygen vacancy
Hydrogenation from CO2 to liquid hydrocarbons (HCs) via catalytic reaction is a rational strategy to realize the carbon neutrality. We succeeded in the conversion from CO2 to liquid HCs over cobalt catalyst supported on lanthanum ion-doped cerium oxide under 300 °C and H2/CO2 = 3 condition in one reactor. Experimental and computational insights demonstrated that extrinsic oxygen vacancy formed by the introduction of lanthanum ion to ceria lattice strongly capture CO2 and is the most important factor to achieve the catalytic conversion from CO2 to liquid HCs.
