[A16] Photo-assisted Reverse Water Gas Shift over Pt/MoO3/ZrO2 Catalysts

Photo-assisted reverse water gas shift (CO2 + H2 → CO + H2O) reaction at low temperatures has attracted much attention for utilizing solar energy and waste heat. We aim to enhance the activity of the Pt/MoO3 catalyst previously reported by our laboratory by loading on various metal oxides. As a result, the catalyst supported on ZrO2 showed higher surface temperature and activity under light irradiation. This would be due to the low thermal conductivity of ZrO2 and the high dispersion of MoO3.
