Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC) is a disorder recognized by non-progressive multiple intra-articular contractures from birth. The etiology underlying this phenotype remains unknown, and the definition is not unified. Arthrogryposis is a clinical finding includes > 300 different disorders. Although these impaired movements are typical clinical presentations, medical facilities that can provide treatment are limited because of low incidence and long-term intractable disease. In an effort to provide accessible support for patients with the disorder in everyday situations, we present a concrete example of a longitudinal observation of a child with AMC in a nursery school. This study describes how the child modulated interactions between the body and the environment from 0 to 6 years of age, as the child progressed from sitting to walking through the surgery. These findings show the possibility of a daily continuous approach that provides insights for appropriate personalization.
