[4E3-OS-19b-03] Analysis of Students’ Behavior during Gaming Events
Keywords:Group Interaction, Behavior Analysis
We analyzed students’ behavior in a gaming event. The students have been holding a children gaming event for the past few years, and the number of participants in the event have been increasing. Therefore, effective management was required. However, an effective protocol for a master of ceremony (MC) has not been well-known, because the role of MC is played by a person with special abilities, such as a professional or a teacher. Here, the MCs’ behavior during the game were analyzed to develop an effective MC protocol. Therefore, the explicit behavior and the specific sequence of players and staff were found to be important for the MC process. Hence, we demonstrate that the protocol was usable in other events. Moreover, we examined the development of an animated agent as an MC, in successful event management.
