[1O3-GS-11-01] A Construction of Classification System for Encouragement to Recycle Used Clothes.
[[Online]]
Keywords:Clothes, Recycle, Classification
The fashion industry is often cited as the world's second-largest polluting sector, necessitating the development of systems for clothing reuse.
This study aims to construct a system capable of determining the reusability of clothing items based on images. The judgment system utilizes
classification models from machine learning, with parameters set through 5-fold cross-validation. Experimental results demonstrated that a model
fine-tuned using Vision Transformer (ViT) achieved an F1 score of 0.98. Consequently, this establishes a method for straightforwardly determining
clothing reusability from pictures.
