[3L1-OS-3a-05] Extension and Application of Earthquake Linked Open Data (LOD)
Keywords:Knowledge Graph, Earthquake, Linked Open Data
In this paper, we extended Earthquake Linked Open Data (LOD) by converting seismic observation data to RDF format.
The existing earthquake LOD is based on data from the Japan Meteorological Agency.
Seismic data were also collected by NIED, and additionally, data from USGS and FDSN were incorporated.
Using SSN/SOSA ontology, we expanded the earthquake LOD by converting seismic data held by FDSN outside Japan into RDF format.
This extension enables cross-sectional data retrieval from multiple observation points.
We explore the utility of earthquake LOD by connecting it with other disaster-related information, thus aiding comprehensive disaster management.
