[4F3-GS-3-01] Evaluation of the usefulness of a physical condition self-check system for adult female softball players
Keywords:Self-check, physical health condition
A previous study of female student-athletes found keeping track of your physical condition was helpful in managing your physical condition, and it was recommended you keep a daily record. We have built a self-check system that allows softball players to digitally record and check their physical condition and collaborate with staff. The purpose of this study is to quantitatively evaluate whether this system is useful for physical condition management. A repeated analysis of variance on awareness of factors that affect physical condition suggested an effect on physical health. As a response rate for data entry, which is an indicator of motivation, we compared the amount of change in physical condition on the day after becoming unwell between the high motivation group and the low motivation group. The results confirmed the highly motivated group was more effective in terms of scores. These results demonstrated the usefulness of the system in managing physical condition.
