[4M1-GS-10-01] Modeling the practical and tacit knowledge of science communicators in facilitation

The workshop "Aim to Become a Weather Master!" conducted by the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) aims to create a context that goes beyond surface-level knowledge acquisition, striving for a "proactive, interactive, and authentic learning." This report presents an attempt to model the skills and tacit knowledge required by facilitators in such spaces as a Digital Twin (DT).
Among the common success and failure factors universally emphasized by practitioners, the evaluation axis (parameter) of "cohesion and divergence of the context" was identified and used as a basis for modeling. During the modeling process, the presence of missing information became apparent, leading practitioners to two realizations: the necessity for "adding parameters" and the "reframing of the model through dialogue between practitioners and developers," both stemming from a serious sense of incongruity. As a result, requirements for support tools were organized.
In aiming for DX3.0, where practical skills and tacit knowledge are passed down through Digital Twins, the focus is on not merely reproducing surface-level knowledge but encouraging practitioners' reflection and reframing. This approach aims for the mutual deepening and development of both practice and systems.
