We introduced an approach of purification/sorting of nano-materials by means of resonant optical scattering force. We showed a series of evidences that shows selective enrichment of target chiralities of single-wall carbon nanotubes in a glass micro-capillary. By careful tuning of the wavelength of pushing laser, we selectively enriched different chiralities. Our demonstrated principle can apply not only for precise purification/sorting of single wall carbon nanotubes but also any other nano-particles/materials having quantum resonance in the range of our available tunable laser.
