我々は熱モードスペクトロスコピー(TMS)法という新たな計測手法を開発した．従来の熱伝導率の計測手法は全て熱の伝導現象を利用しており，微小かつ熱伝導率の高い試料に対しては原理的に測定精度が低下する．しかしTMS法は「熱の共振現象」という新たな概念を利用するため，そのような試料に対してむしろ測定精度が向上する．TMS法が確立すれば，例えば極めて高い熱伝導率を示すダイヤモンドの同位体効果の精密な評価が期待できる．
