▲ [13p-PB7-9] Study on Excitation Temperature of Alternating Current Liquid Electrode Plasma
キーワード:LEP
Liquid electrode plasma (LEP) is an excitation source for elemental analysis. The plasma is generated by electrical discharge at the narrower portion of a liquid channel when applying a high voltage to two electrodes inserted to the two ends of the liquid channel. Conventionally LEP is generated by direct current. More recently, we found the best conditions to generate LEP by alternating current (AC), and named the new method as AC LEP. The fundamental characteristics of the AC LEP such as temperature, pressure and electron density are unknown. In the study, we report a study on excitation temperature of the AC LEP at various conditions including narrow channel dimensions, with and without additive reagent (formic acid).
