[13p-PB9-43] Charge Separation Mechanism at Orientation-Controlled Donor/Acceptor Interface
Keywords:organic photovoltaics,time-resolved microwave conductivity,charge separation
PCPDTBT, a representative low bandgap polymer, is known to change its backbone orientation (edge-on or face-on) by altering alkyl chains. A double layer of PCPDTBT /PCBM was prepared by thin film transfer method and subject to time-resolved microwave conductivity (TRMC) evaluation. The difference of charge carrier generation efficiency between polymer single and double layer includes the charge separation efficiency at the polymer/fullerene interface. We discuss the impact of polymer orientation and TRMC mobility on the charge separation efficiency and dynamics at the controlled interface.
