The reports of Förster Resonance Energy Transfer(FRET) between π-conjugated polymers are limitted bacause of phase segregation. We successfully prepared microspheres consisting of mixtures of energy-donating and accepting π-conjugated polymers. The hybrid spheres exhibited whispering gallery mode (WGM) photoemission at the PL spectral range of the energy accepting polymer via FRET efficiently. The fluorescent quantum yield is enhanced by the formation of hybrid sphere in comparison with the homotropic spheres. This research clarified that the guidline for making heterotropic microspheres with various kinds of polymer materials such as electron-donating/accepting polymers, conjugated/ferroelectric polymers, and so on.
