Since Na is a cheap and ubiquitous element, sodium ion secondary batteries (SIBs) can be applied for large-scale batteries. P2-type NaxMn1-yMgyO2 is a possible candidate for cathode material of SIBs due to its good cyclability and capacity. To investigate a relationship between the cyclability and local structure, we performed EXAFS (Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure) analysis of NaxMn1-yMgyO2.
