Keywords:transparent organic devices

Formation of transparent conductive oxide films, such as ITO, onto organic semiconductor films enables addition of transparency to the organic devices. We report on the effect of residual stress in the ITO films on the performance of see-through organic light emitting diodes. The residual stress in the ITO formed on the organic films significantly degraded the performance of devices. This indicate that, controlling the residual stress in transparent electrodes is important to fabricate efficient see-through organic devices.
