[14p-2H-9] Kinetics of spinodal decomposition in the TiO₂-VO₂ system
The effect of aliovalent (Al³⁺,Nb⁵⁺) doping

The effects of the aliovalent dopants on the spinodal decomposition in the TiO₂-VO₂ system were investigated. The spinodal decomposition in the doped-sample of 1 mol % Al₂O₃ occurs more rapid while that in the doped sample of 0.5 mol% Nb₂O₅ arises more slow, compared with the case of a non-doped (Ti,V)O₂ solid solution. The role of aliovalant dopants is discussed.
