[14p-PA7-11] Spectroscopic Analysis of Highly Symmetric Organic Molecular Crystals and Its Applications

As Hexamethylenetetramine (HMT, C₆H₁₂N₄ ) crystal has high symmetricity, it has small number of vibration modes in it. Transparent property in THz range of HMT will be discussed using terahertz spectroscopy with the aid of XRD, IR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and Quantum chemical calculation. Actual application as dillute material for the sample of THz spectroscopy will be also shown in the presentation.
