Keywords:Surface plasmon,Scattering of the plasmon

Since the short distance between the metal electrode and the light emitting layer in the organic EL device, some of the energy of excitons is absorbed by the surface plasmons. However, if the fine irregularities on the metal electrode surface, it is possible again is taken out the light. We have ever examined the scattering characteristics of the surface plasmons in the organic EL element. However, factors that peak wavelength and the PL enhancement were determined were unclear. So, we calculated the scattering probability of surface plasmons at the metal electrode surface.
