Surface plasmon sensor can detect in response to change the refractive index of the target medium. We aim to detect high-refractive index media by substituting metal diffraction grating with a metal film. Detection media of refractive index n = 1.65 was confirmed, so we calculated the structure of sensor and the dependence of reflectance on the light incident angle by using RCWA method in order to detect the medium of refractive index which is between 1.660 and 1.700.
