[15a-2W-13] CCD readout of scintillation from a self-activated CsI

Scintillation lights emitted from a self-activated CsI(Tl) plate were observed by a CCD camera to investigate the intensity distribution of incident neutrons. The decay curves of pixel values on the observed images were well-explained by the fitting with two exponential-decaying components of I-128 (T_1/2=25min) and Cs-134m( T_1/2=174min). This technique will be applicable to a simple monitoring of neutron intensity distribution.
