[15a-PA3-3] Mid-IR absroption spectroscopy with low power consumption quantum cascade laser

We have reported low power-consumption DFB-QCL as 0.44 W under CW operation at 20 °C. In this study, Mid-IR absorption spectrum was measured with this DFB-QCL to evaluate the gas-sensing performance of this laser. 1 ppm methane was flowed into a multi-pass gas cell. As a result, high sensitivity gas sensing was realized with the low power-consumption DFB-QCL.
