Recently the highly efficient all-polymer solar cells have been fabricated by blending a PBDTTT-EF-T as electron donor with a N2200 as electron accepter. Although these binary blend solar cells efficiently harvests near-infrared light, there is an “absorption window” from 400 to 550 nm. In this study, a third polymer was added to the binary blend system in order to harvest the visible light. This approach resulted in the increase in the photocurrent and thus power conversion efficiency.
