[15p-1G-15] Synthesis of Heteroacenes with Benzo[2,1-b:3,4-b']difuran Skeleton and Their Application to Organic Field-effect Transistor

A series of heteroacenes, dibenzo[d,d']benzo[2,1-b:3,4-b']difuran (syn-DBBDF) and dinaphtho[d,d']benzo[2,1-b:3,4-b']difuran (syn-DNBDF) were successfully synthesized. Organic field-effect transistors with a thin film of syn-DBBDF and syn-DNBDF demonstrated hole mobility of 1.5 x 10−3 cm2/Vs and 0.10 cm2/Vs, respectively.
