[15p-2G-12] Analysis of defect dynamics in nano-graphite clusters by SERS

The mode volume of gold and silver nanoparticle junctions generating SERS is extremely small ~1nm³, resulting in emission of ultrafast molecular luminescence and strong coupling between plasmonic and molecular resonance. Molecules in such domains exhibit drastic structure changes. In the present study, we demonstrate conversion of several dye molecules into carbon clusters and dynamics of sp² carbon systems in the clusters.
