[15p-2M-3] High-speed single-electron transfer and detection using Si nanodevices

Keywords:silicon,single electron

Silicon nanowire transistors with excellent gate control enable to manipulate and detect single electrons and they are expected to be applicable to a variety of fields such as high-accuracy electrical standards, high-sensitive sensors, and quantum information processing. Especially, single-electron current standards have been intensively studied towards the upcoming ampere redefinition in new SI units. In this talk we will introduce our recent work on high-speed single-electron transfer and single-electron detection techniques based on silicon nanodevices.
