The two-dimensional spectroscopic observation was carried out during TiO₂ nanopowder (NPs) synthesis using induction thermal plasma. In order to investigate fundamental process of NPs synthesis, feedstock was intermittently injected into the torch. From the observation results, distribution of excited O atoms, Ti feedstock evaporation and TiO molecules formation and convection process were investigated.
