Measurement-device-independent (MDI) quantum key distribution (QKD) is being studied in order to be free from side-channel attacks that utilize incompleteness of photon detectors. We previously proposed a MDI-QKD protocol based on the differential phase shift (DPS) QKD scheme. This study evaluates the system performance of MDI-DPS-QKD.
