LLIP method is one of crystallization technique. The LLIP method is able to control the size and the crystal structure as reported in the case of the fullerene nano-whisker. As the MFEs of the dendrite ice, the length of the branch was elongated under a vertical gradient magnetic field. On the other hand, the position of the roots of the dendrite was localized in a reactor under the horizontal magnetic field. In this study, the mechanism of the change of the position of the roots is researched. Consequently it had been found that ice crystal was not oriented perpendicular to the magnetic flux and there were other factors in that phenomenon.
