Electro-mechanical coupling between cardiac cells in the heart has received considerable attention in order to regulate the heartbeat. However, direct mechanical stimulus on cardiac aggregates in a dish has not been applied to induce their extra beats and the beat transmission to the other aggregates. We present the enhanced cardiac beats by stimulus and discuss the preliminary results.
