[13a-D63-6] Study on a new probe with stationary acoustic mirror for detection of ultrasonic velocity change

We have developed a fatty liver diagnostic apparatus using the ultrasonic velocity change imaging method. In the apparatus, a probe composed of two ultrasonic transducers combined orthogonally through a movable acoustic mirror was necessary for both heating and ultrasonic imaging. For convenience in actual use, in this study, the movable acoustic mirror in the probe was replaced with a fixed metallic thin plate in which the ultrasonic waves having particular frequencies can transmit.
