Keywords:magnetic field effect, LLIP method, crystallization

Remarkable magnetic field effects on crystallization process were observed for molecular and ionic crystals by using the liquid-liquid interfacial precipitation method. The size, morphology and polymorphism of crystals were influenced by high magnetic fields with/without gradient. For example, the volume of C60 fullerene rod was enlarged by 100 times, and the yield of the unstable beta-crystal of glycine was increased to 50% under the reduced gravity environment with the aid of gradient magnetic field. New precipitation method of protein crystal was suggested.
