Keywords:SERS, LSPR, Raman scattering

Composite films with porous MgF2 matrix dispersed with Ag nanoparticles were deposited by using a sol-gel method. Enhancements of Raman scattering spectra were observed using pyridine water solution coated on the composite film. Almost linear calibration curve was obtained in the molar concentration down to about 10-5 mol. Other several specimens were also examined for the enhancement of Raman intensity. The detection limit and excitation wavelength dependence of Raman intensities were discussed relating with MgF2 composite films dispersed with silver nanoparticles.
