[13p-P9-8] Design of Regio-regular Benzothienoisoindigo Copolymer

New unsymmetric benzothienoisoindigo (BTIDG) copolymers were synthesized, leading to 4.2 % power conversion efficiency of PC[71]BM-blended solar cell owing to enhanced face-on orientation. However, the regio-regularity of the unsymmetric BTIDG unit was not controlled. In this work, we made an attempt to realize regio-regularity-controlled BTIDG copolymer via homo-coupling scheme and investigate its photovoltaic performance.
