[14a-B9-9] Production of optical vortices by utilizing a He-Cd laser with a spot-defect mirror

Vortex beam is paraxial wave which has the orbital angular momentum associated with its spiral phase wavefront. We are aiming to develop high-efficient holograms to develop practical electron vortex sources, by utilizing photolithography with optical vortices in UV band. The demonstration of an He-Cd laser, which can generate almost pure optical vortices by a spot-defect mirror, will be shown in the talk.
