[14p-A37-4] Synthesis of perovskite oxynitride LaMnOxNy by solid phase epitaxy

Perovskite oxide LaMnO3 shows the transition from an antiferromegnetic insulator to a ferromagnetic metal by hole doping. Although nitrogen substitution for oxygen site has been expected to be effective, so far the amount of introduced nitrogen remained y/(y+x)~0.04 at most. In this research, we performed thin film synthesis by solid phase epitaxy, and succcessfully synthesized LaMnOxNy with the nitrogen amount y/(y+x)~0.1.
