Our group has been developing a molecularly imprinted polymer-coated gate field effect transistor for specific molecular recognition in aqueous media. In this study, we applied Batch Rebinding method to the results achieved from FET real-time measurement, to characterize MIP-gate FETs for variety of targets, by fitting several isotherm equations. As a consequence, we found out that the signal from FET can be well explained by isotherm equations such as Langmuir and Freundlich, and thus, achieved a method to characterize MIP-gate FET. This enables us to compare the selectivity enhanced by MIP, as well as strategically design MIPs for variety of target molecules.
