[14p-P2-5] Tm:YAG pulsed laser pumped Cr:CdSe laser

Cr:CdSe is a suitable laser material for efficient oscillation in broad mid-infrared region because of its large stimulated emission cross section and wide fluorescence range. In this study we demonstrated a Cr:CdSe laser pumped with Tm:YAG pulsed laser. The tuning range from 2.25 to 3.08 µm was achieved using a grating. The output pulse energy reached 4.1 mJ at 2.64 µm by pumping energy of 24 mJ.
