Keywords:silicon, solar cell, oxygen precipitation

Oxygen precipitation in the heating process of the solar cell production is the cause of carrier lifetime degradation of the wafer. Carbon concentration and the crystal pulling conditions influence the cell performance of efficiency and open circuit voltage. We produced solar cells using different wafers of carbon concentration and the crystal pulling conditions, and pulled out the wafers in the middle of the cell process, examined the lifetime change. If the higher efficiency by advances in cell process technology, the difference of the crystal quality of wafer appear in the cell performance.
