[15a-P1-6] Relation between the optical process and the resolution limit of optical microscopy

Recently, a variety of optical microscopy have been used to visualize biological specimen in three dimensions by harnessing many kinds of optical processes, such as two-photon excited fluorescence, second- and third-order harmonic generation, coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering, and stimulated Raman scattering. Depending on the optical process, each microscopy exhibits its own feature of image formation. In this research, we formulate the framework that connects double-sided Feynman diagrams to the resolution limit of all optical microscopy.
