Multiply Charged Ions have high potential energy. When One Multiply Charged Ion approaches material surface, it sputters many electrons and causes structural change at nanoscale. In this study, we irradiated the Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes produced by University of Hyogo with Multiply Charged Ar Ions and analyzed MWCNT before and after irradiation by TEM, Raman spectroscopy.
