Generally, a dispersant for CNTs is necessary for uniform distribution of CNTs into material matrix. However, dispersant-free process is desirable because a dispersant cause electrical property deterioration of the composites. Previously, We reported the carboxyl group was effective to disperse CNTs. In this study, we investigated the effects of amount and ionic radius of functional groups on surface of CNTs in the dispersant free CNT dispersion process.
