Non-equilibrium atmospheric-pressure plasma (APP) has recently emerged as a novel tool in medicine. We previously reported that cell membrane transport can be actively modulated by APP irradiation. On the other hand, what types of plasma-induced stimuli trigger the change of the cell membrane transport remains unclear and the identification is one of crucial themes in plasma medicine. The presentation will contain the spatial distribution measurement of the reactive species, the electric potential, and the permeabilized cells induced by plasma irradiation and the discussion on the correlation among those distributions.
