[15p-C42-4] Improvement of volume holographic recording sensitivity of nanoparticle-polymer composites using ultrahigh refractive index hyperbranched polymer

We demonstrate volume holographic recording in polymer nanocomposites incorporated with hyperbranched polymer (HBP) nanoparticles with crosslinking monomer which has higher reactivity. The refractive index modulation amplitude as large as 0.022 was obtained at the HBP concentration of 26 vol.%, and sensitivity was improved as 2 times as previously reported.
