[15p-P5-1] Influence of spatial resolution on sensitivity enhancement of integrated cavity output spectroscopy

Daisuke Nakajima1, Makoto Matsui1 (1.Shizuoka Univ.)

Keywords:Integrated cavity output spectroscopy

In the improvement of thermal protection system for the atmospheric entry vehicle, atomic oxygen number density and number density distribution are important to evaluate the surface catastrophic.
In our previous research, the sensitivity of conventional laser absorption spectroscopy was enhanced 5 orders of magnitude using method combined wavelength modulation spectroscopy with integrated cavity output spectroscopy. Additionally, its spatial resolution was 8mm. In this study, the relationship between spatial resolution and sensitivity is evaluated using numerical calculation and attempt to enhance spatial resolution.
