[15p-P5-2] Electric-Field Measurement in Argon Glow Discharge Plasma by Laser Induced Fluorescence dip Spectroscopy

Keywords:Laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy, Electric-Field Measurement, Dye laser

In this study, LIF-dip spectroscopy is used to measure an electric field distribution of plasma applied magnetic field. At first, 1st step laser beam (763.51nm) was scanned for a glow discharged plasma in a vacuum chamber and detected an absorption. Next, a light collection optical system was constructed and a fluorescence of Ar atom excited by 1st step laser beam (800.61nm) was successfully detected. Now, to detect a decrease of fluorescence, 2nd step laser beam (~480nm) is scanned to excite an Ar atom to Rydberg state by the dye laser.
