[16a-A34-2] Expectation and subject of thermoelectric as the utilization technology for unused heat

Haruhiko Obara1 (1.AIST)

Keywords:thermoelectric

Thermoelectric energy conversion has been long expected as a technology that can recover the unused heat. Currently, the thermoelectric is featured in the several national projects. Major feature of thermoelectric is expected breakthrough of the materials. The subtitle of the symposium is "How far the dimensionless figure of merit ZT goes up?" The lecture will outline the trend of the national projects, expectations and challenges for the thermoelectric.
