Keywords:digital holography

The double-Fresnel transform (DBFT) algorithm is a well known as a method for reconstructiong an image from Fresnel hologram with scalable resolutions. The authors clarified theoreticially and experimentally that there is the limitation of the DBFT. In the present paper, further theoretical and experimental studies are condutected for its limitation with regard to a position of an intermediate plane.
