Recently, it becomes clear that many usual LC materials show large refractive index anisotropy in the MMW regions. We can expect some useful LC control devices in the frequency region as optical devices. However, the wavelength of this region is much longer than the optical region, and then the extremely thick or large LC devices are necessary in proportion to the wavelength. In this work, we adopt porous PMMA materials as base matrix to construct the PDLC type bulky LC devices aiming for the final goal of MMW control LC devices. Here, after preparing a bulk porous PMMA material, we tried to introduce Fresnel structure by cutting. And then, the LC material is injected to Fresnel structure to attain to MMW control device. This fabrication method is investigated in detail.
