シリコンナノワイヤ(SiNW)薄膜は光閉じ込め効果を有するため、太陽電池の薄膜化が期待できる。特に無電解銀メッキ法とMetal assisted chemical etching(MAE)法で作製したSiNW薄膜は長さ10 umで太陽光をほとんどロスなく吸収することが可能となる。そこで10 um以上の長さのSiNW薄膜をSi基板上に作製し太陽電池の特性評価を行った。
