Keywords:anomalous Nernst effect,Fe4N

Anomalous Nernst voltage in a pseudo mono-crystalline Fe4N thin film was measured by varying direction of temperature gradient (∇T). The detected voltage in which the ∇T was parallel to the magnetization hard-axis of Fe4N revealed approximately twice the increase of that in hard-axis. The anomalous Nernst coefficients were estimated to be + 0.65 μV/(T·K) and + 1.3 μV/(T·K) for easy-axis and hard-axis, respectively. While the interpretation of such the anisotropy is not yet clear, the discussion will be performed with anisotropy in the anomalous-Hall conductivity as well as the spin dynamics of the specimen.
